Dear Concordian Sisters of Perpetual Parturition,
I like you. I like you a lot.
I like that I can take this, substitute the word “barrenness” for “a baby” and claim it as my own confession. In fact, I seem to be able to do that switcheroo magic trick with so many of your posts, and I don’t even own a wand. I own something so much better.
I own the comfort of knowing that we truly are sisters in our confession of the same faith in Christ crucified; that our Church’s doctrine and practice define our circumstances in life, not the other way around; that we speak the same gift language; that, subsequently, we can truly bear with one another in love, no matter the fruit of our wombs.
So, thank you for praying for us. It is a joy to pray for you.
